Sounds like a "Continuing Ed" class doesn't it? Well actually, it's not. And I'm pretty psyched about it! I've FINALLY started to lay down vocal traxx - YEA!!!!! Interesting process though. "Interesting?" you might ask. Well yes. Interesting because I'd gotten another cold (rough winter) and lost my voice for a week or so and when I first tried to lay down vocal traxx, they sounded, well, kinda like a frog - as you might have guessed from someone who didn't have much of a voice. But there again, you never know what quality vocals I might have ended up with. After all, when I lose my voice THAT'S the time that "They" should grab me and have me do as many voice overs as possible because I could pass for Lauren Bacall or Kathleen Turner, you know with that deep, sexy voice!
Hey All, in case you hadn't guessed, it's Nancy Carey Johnson, Singer/Songwriter here! Still having a good time. Still learning a lot. Still moving forward. And as I said, starting to lay down the vocals on my Wild Women Don't Get the Blues CD. Got the title tune done and I'm going back in tomorrow to lay down traxx for a couple of more. I'll let you know how it goes!
Meanwhile stay safe and warm in this winter weather - less than a month to spring, I wonder if Mother Nature is paying attention to her calendar? Best, Nancy
