Good Morning, Nancy Carey Johnson singer/songwriter here. I was just thinking about the other afternoon when I took my boys to go fishing with some of my oldest friends and their children. A great time was had by all, my boys showing the littler kids and their parents how to tie flies, and then showing them different spinners, rig set ups, how to find a 'honey hole', how to cast and the best way to 'set a fish'. I was thinking about how much fun it was to spend the time with my boys and to watch how much fun my friends and their kids were having together which got me to thinking about the song I wrote called "Perfect Day in Paradise". I wrote it late last summer when I'd taken my boys fishing (I seldom travel without a guitar) and the first verse talks about fishing with my dad. But just as life doesn't remain static, rather it is ever flowing and changing, so too does the song tell a story about the "Perfect Day In Paradise" from many different ages. It could be written about you or about your child since we all share many milestones in the coming of age. I would caution you though that this song is DEMO QUALITY ONLY and done in one take. However, without a doubt the story and the emotion comes through. - Nancy
